2. Special products

These products are in fact jams or preserves, we just mixed them up a bit with each other.

To the plum we have added rum and Hungarian brandy (“pálinka”) and finally garlic. However, because it was not so tasty, we added rosemary, basil, sugar, salt, vinegar – that’s how the Chutney was made.

We added almonds to the peach and chili to the pear.

The green walnut was a specialty already. (We made it for a long time.)

We though about the ones who cannot eat sugar. For them we have made the pear and plum jam, which does not contain anything but fruit.

These can be consumed with bread, as a side dish for roasted meats, or as a filling for cookies but it is delicious with plain yoghurt as well. We also put these on our cookies.

Spicy sauce from south Asia. The Chutney is chilly and sweet at the same time. It is good for the appetite and helps digestion.

We can eat it as a appetizer, as a side dish for cheeses or the main meal or with meats. It is a specialty when serving grilled meats or vegetables.

It is made from vegetables and fruits with adding sugar, onion, vinegar and spices.

5. Homemade cookies and Homemade pastes

One of the most important ingredients is the eggs, the product of the hens living in the hen yard.

During raising them we avoid artificial nutrition or any artificial products, but they are free to scratch (of course, under supervision).

The paste contains only eggs and flour.
